Carex berggrenii

The tiniest sedge I've ever seen, forming wee itsy bitsy little grass-like tufts only an inch tall. Even cooler, this is one of the bronze sedges that looks, at first glance, like it isn't alive at all. I think it is as cool as hell. People who object to plants that look dead will probably be less thrilled. So tiny and so brown that you really must grow it in a trough or fairy garden (would be perfect for a miniature Halloween theme...) for it to be noticed at all.____ZONE 6
