Veronica gentianoides

One of the very best upright veronicas. The foliage, which indeed has a gentian-like look to it, forms a neat basal rosette, flowers are on spikes a couple feet tall, in shades of delightful, pale blue, over a very long period over the course of the summer, particularly if you deadhead. Vastly superior to the more common V. spicata, not sure why it isn't more widely grown. Zone 5
