Winter is back yet again (unfortunately), which means you might have some free time in your schedule now. Instead of staring angrily at the snow, you can settle in and prepare for some plant shopping. We have some winter sales you can take advantage of now for significant savings, and we’ll ship your plants when the world thaws out again in the spring. To get you started, we’re offering your choice of two different coupons that are valid now through January 31th. You can’t use both, so choose wisely! Either enter the code ‘snow’ and get 20% off your entire order (excluding our collections, grafted conifers, and bulk wildflowers), or you can enter the code ‘ice’ to get free shipping. Minimum order to use these codes is $150. If you don’t want to spend that much, consider combining your order with a friend or neighbor to cash in on our winter savings.
If you’re out of ideas for your winter plant order, take a look at some of our Hellebores which will be sure to impress. Check out Helleborus niger macranthus roseus, a stunningly pink flowered hellbore which comes from the absolute best plants among our collection of niger hellebores. An early bloomer with large flowers. Another great choice is our Helleborus x hybridus "Mixed Colors", a beautiful collection of dark red to purple, spotted pink and picotee flowers which are almost always doubled and always impressive.
Here at Arrowhead we're trying to downsize and refocus on doing what we do best: alpines. To that end, we're doing a massive sale on our trees and shrubs (except our Daphnes) to clear out the stock. Order now for trees and shrubs shipped through November, and take 20% off. And if there is something in our catalog you've been wanting and putting off buying, now is the time, as once they're gone, they're not coming back. Order online or stop by in person and receive 20% off trees and shrubs either way.
For example, you won't want to miss Weigela subsessilis 'Canary' which is worth growing for the very unsual soft yellow flowers, but is also the most vigorous, winter hardy, weigela I know, blooming its head off after even the harshest winters.
Or Abelia mosanensis, with abundant fragrant white flowers in midsummer which holds the crown as the most popular shrub in the nursery with butterflies of all types, or end your season with the late summer glory of Heptocodium miconoides with white flowers aging to rusty red.
Prepare now for a gorgeous spring with beautiful woodland wildflowers like trillium and bluebells. And our amazing selection of woodland wildflowers is a great deal. Even better... FREE SHIPPING when you buy in bulk. Fall is the best time to plant, though you can also get away with planting them very early in the spring. If you are close by and want to place an order and pick it up, please give us 7 days notice so we can get your order together.
